Credit Rentz is one of the first companies to report rent payments to all 3 credit bureaus. Unlike most property management companies and landlords who are unable to provide such services due to stringent guidelines and vetting processes, we offer rent reporting services to all those named on the lease agreement. Additionally, we can report the past 24 months of rent payments which gives you an immediate 2 year credit history. This is particularly beneficial as research shows the longer the tradeline is reported, the greater the impact on your credit scoresd. And the best part of all – there’s no credit check or inquiry to get started!

Rent Reporting is an optional $7.95/month subscription that automatically reports your monthly rent payment activity to credit bureaus to create a record of credit history.1 You can easily sign up and pay for Rent Reporting during the leasing process or from your resident portal. (Subject to community participation.)

If your lease date is moved to a later date, we will adjust the monthly reporting and subscription billing to the new date of your lease. If your move-in occurs in an earlier month than indicated during sign-up, we will use the lease start date indicated during sign-up to begin your subscription cycle.

We currently report rent payment history to all three major credit bureaus: Equifax®, Experian® and TransUnion®.2,
You will be billed each month in advance to report the following month’s rent payments to the credit bureau(s). Rent Reporting services for new residents will begin the later of the calendar month following (i) the lease start date provided upon enrollment; or (ii) the actual lease start date. Services for existing residents will begin the calendar month following the date of enrollment. In either case (for new or existing residents), the subscription and billing will continue until the service is cancelled or terminated or you move out.
Not at this time. The reporting of rent payments will initially be available only for currently active leases.
Yes, we will cancel the subscription automatically if the lease is not renewed.
Refunds are not available for any subscription fees already paid.
